Architectural Overview

The house has an A-shaped sloping roof with a bright silver seam corrugated iron roof, highlighted by the natural fieldstone-clad foyer – a typical detail of a classic country house. The main wooden arched door evokes a sense of friendliness and nostalgia. The white steps, railings and window frames create a gentle contrast with the warm beige wall tones. In front is a garden area with white Adirondack tables and chairs – where the homeowner can relax or light a fire outdoors.

Interior space

Inside, the high white painted ceiling with exposed wooden beams creates an open and airy feeling. The living room has a natural stone fireplace as the centerpiece, combined with linen and rattan furniture to create a classic, cozy atmosphere.
The dining room is compact but bright thanks to the skylight; the natural wood table combined with hand-woven rattan chairs creates a rustic and elegant look.
The kitchen uses a soft sage green color scheme - a highlight of the modern farmhouse style, with copper handles and a dark wooden butcher block countertop creating depth.

The bedroom is simple, combining earth tones - beige - white, accented with brocade motifs and linen materials, creating a quiet and relaxing space.

Design inspiration

The house model reflects the spirit of "small home, big warmth" - small but comfortable, aiming for a slow and warm lifestyle. The familiar feeling comes from real materials: wood, stone, fabric, rattan and natural light. Every detail evokes a rustic, gentle but sophisticated feel.

Application in Vietnam

This type of house is completely suitable for development in Da Lat, Bao Loc or the suburbs of Hanoi, used as a homestay or a small resort. When applied:
• The seam corrugated iron roof can be replaced with a sloping tile roof or a cold corrugated iron roof combined with wood paneling.
• Use local natural stone for the facade.
• Maintain the layout of high ceilings, large windows, and bright color palette to create a Nordic feel but still close to the Vietnamese climate.
